Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive team members to answer phones, e-mails, and other sales and customer service inquiries. All sales calls are inbound and no cold call telemarketing is necessary. Compensation includes a generous hourly wage plus commission. Call Center hours are Monday-Friday 5:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am-3:00pm.
Essential Job Functions
- Close inbound sales calls with an eye towards expanding the sales ticket
- Profile customers tactfully for cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Provide one-call/email resolution to customer service concerns
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Work in a team-based environment collaborating for customer solutions
- Complete time-sensitive changes to orders per customer and vendor requests
- Navigate the Internet and in-house enterprise software for quick information retrieval
- Update and configure product data within spreadsheets and databases
Required Experience and Skills
- Sales Experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Clear understanding of customer service and sales principles
- A strong grasp of Internet navigation
- Ability to multi-task in multiple electronic media
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Google Applications platforms
- Typing Certification for 35 WPM
Recommended Experience and Skills
- Experience working with Home Improvement Products
- Knowledge of Call Center and eCommerce practices
